I want to take a Spanish class this summer. Can I do that at the local community college if I haven't yet graduated from school? How would I go about doing that?

Yep, you sure can.. here in South Carolina we were allowed I took Spanish and Psychology while I was in the 9th and 10th grade.. I took them at the community college, just ask your guidance counsellor about it

Oh gosh yes. Kids do it all the time. I'm not sure HOW you do it, but go to the community college or a Spanish teacher at your school and ask about it. Good luck!

I think this all depends on your community college. I know that where I live (Texas) you can take college classes during high school and get dual credit-both high school & college credit. But...you have to have completed your sophomore year of high school to do this.
Because of this program, they don't allow anyone younger to take courses.
So check your local college and see how they do it.

It probably varies by state or county, but I know that in Montgomery County, Maryland you don't have to graduate high school in order to take community college classes.
