so theres this guy that had liked me for a really long time. yesterday, he asked me to slow dance with him at a friends birthday party tomorrow, and i didnt really say either way then. then today, my friend went up to him and asked him why he asked me that. (i didnt tell her to) then he emails me a few hours later and says "hey...forget i asked u to dance tomorrow".
any ideas on what happened?

Maybe your friend likes him and doesn't wat him to dance with you... and he's in love with yoooouu and he thought that you asked your friend to ask him that but he mailed you because he might be saying I feel the same way...

I would have to guess he's pissed you told other people he said that to you. I mean why didn't you just dance or not dance with him tomorrow? Or just answer him when he asked? I'm pretty sure you embarrassed him by telling your friend about what he asked. Now he probably thinks your a jerk.

He thought that you were checking up on him, and he didnt like that.....just explain and tell him that you would still like that dance if he would be willing to dance with you.
