Depends on the texture and absorbency of your hair as well as your natural undertones (so it could turn any color from dirty blonde to orange to greenish grey). If you've processed it in any way it will tend to react differently to the color stripping (which is permanent, of course, til it grows out.) Buy the smallest bottle of peroxide developer and do a sample check of a small area of your hair to see what you get before committing your whole head. That will also tell you if you might have an allergic reaction to the peroxide. You can always dye it back anyway.

you don't want to just put plain peroxide on your hair. you need to use a lightener such as bleach or color. the peroxide needs an acclerator like bleach, it's not strong enough to do it alone, if it does it will probably turn orange. when the hair is very dark it takes longer to lighten because of how much more pigment there is to remove. When you lighten the hair it is PERMANENT. It will not come off until you cut it off or color over it.

It would have a brown/golden hair, The lasting cannot be said because it depends on what depth Hydrogen peroxide goes and the strength of your hair.

My personal suggestion is if u have ablack hair it is strong in manu aspects, why are weakening it ?

I did that when I was 15 and my hair color turned orangey. It also made it feel like wire.

Peroxide bleaches. It would go kinda white and/or kinda funky. And its permanent, until your roots start to grow in... I don't recommend it, unless you are going to dye it a different, more likeable, color, after bleaching.

It will be sunkiss brown. It looks nice and will cause less harm if you plan on doing small portions on top.But I would not recommend it for all your hair.
