Ok.I admit I am naive when it comes to cyber dating an all these personal web dating services. So if someone has IM'd you gazillion times, and has talked to you for several months, (including e-mail), an also they live about 30 minutes away from you, yet they refuse to meet you....What then could possibly going on here? They say that they had a very bad experience once from an initial meeting, so they say they are gun shy, but whoa.....this is getting a bit much. What do all you experts have to say?

Give the sweetie her space. Just take her at her word. 3 months is not really that long in the great scheme of things. But after 6, well, that might be a different story. After that I would be issuing an ultimatum, and then going after all the other beautiful fish in the sea.
But, an important point here is: Do you get the impression she'll never change her mind? Because what's the point of continuing to spend your time on someone you'll never get to meet?

Brother you are getting played. Three months, I mean come on. I sounds like this person, I say person because it could be a dude, is stringing you along. You can do better than this. You need to find a girl of flesh and bones. Don't be trippin' on no cyber girl. You have to charge her to the game and move on.

3 months!!?? forget about her. She's probably just into the chatting. She probably does like you - but for what ever reason she prefers not to meet. Trust me your better off meeting REAL people off the street, at a store, a bar, a park whatever your into.

I would say she is married, or is not the person she(he) says they are. How many pics did you see? Did you talk on the phone? Maybe she looks totally different and she knows you'll see she's an imposture. Move on sweety

do you think she is being honest with you? maybe she is married? or maybe the photo she has posted or sent is not her. it does sound suspicious!
