Christians: I have a question?

I found this on my friend's myspace. He's a straight out gangster. Why would he have this on his page? He has no desire of living for Christ. If he did he would change his lifestyle. Heavenly Father, please hear me tonight, I need so much guidance to live my life right. Sometimes the pressure is so hard to bear. I often wonder if anyone cares. How can I wake up and face a new day knowing I have to live my life this way? Heavenly Father, forgive all my sins, I want to change, but where do I begin? Please give me strength To resist the wild life I desire; And God, bless my mother who cries every night Worried if I'll be killed in another gang fight. Heavenly Father, please answer my prayers Let me know if You are listening up there. When will it all end? What is it for? To prove to my homies I'm down, I'm hardcore? Sometimes I wonder, how will I die, A bullet wound, or a knife in my side? Heavenly Father, please hear me tonight. Give me the courage and strength to live my life right. Show me the way. Show me the light. Help give my heart peace, so I won't have to fight. Thank you for your forgiveness, Lord And for still being there, But most of all Thanks for listening to this Gangster's Prayer

Anyone who lives a life like that does so of his own choice,if he wants out he can,it's his choice,if he waits on some prayer to be answered to save him from it you might as well purchase the grave plot now. Of course most "Ganstas" are nothing but pathetic posers who end up in prison as someones property anyway. And those few that aren't I have no sympathy for,whenever I see some gang banger who got popped in the news I consider it a good thing.

A straight out gangster would not put this on his myspace. Your friend is calling out to God and you, as his friend, to help him to turn his life around. It is important to first give him accurate knowledge of God and Jesus. Then, it is wise to teach him about God's purpose for the earth so he will have hope and so he will understand the sort of things that God will no longer tolerate once he cleans up the earth. Help your friend to understand the importance of reading the Bible daily and meditating on what he reads so that he will come to know God's thoughts. Help him, also, to learn to talk to God all day long and draw close to him. All these things will begin a long process that will identify you as a true follower of Christ. Are you up for it??

I agree that he is calling out for help, or he is just trying to get attention. Try talking to him, maybe he really wants to get out of that life. But please don't hold your breathe. that kind of life is extremely hard to get away from. Some who want to never do.
