I'm biased, being a US Army Reservist...But it's really going to depend upon what you want to do...
Air Force - if you want to fly planes from land bases the world over, but be stationed on land (and be able to have your family on base with you), this is the branch for you. They're also the Space and Missile folks, generally. Also considered the most 'cerebral' of the services and with the easiest PT and easiest Basic Training.
Navy - Travel the world and see a different scene every day. Long deployments away from family and friends. If you're into flying, they've got the best aviators in the world. Period. No one even disputes this. If you like the idea of sailing fighting ships, or submarines this is the service for you. Lots of variety here - Surface Warfare, Electronic Warfare, submarine warfare, torpedos, missiles, landing craft - You name it.
Marines - Elite infantry with their own integral air support. Every Marine - even the pilots - are riflemen first. But they need the Navy to give them a ride to the fight. ;-) An absolute brotherhood - Once a Marine, always a Marine. If you want to FIGHT, Period. This is the branch for you.
Army - More boats than the navy, more aircraft than the Air Force, more flexibility than anything, the largest of the Service. Any job you can imagine is available. This is my branch. I'm going to Basic Training (at 42 years old!) in about 4 months and learning to fix Chinook helicopters after that. You can fly, sail, SCUBA dive, be heavy infantry, armor, artillery, missiles, radio, intelligence, civil affairs, medics - ANYTHING. You might get posted anywhere.
So, pick what you want to do! Talk to the recruiters from all the branches and see who offers you the best deal. You can start now and see which ones you like, get a feel for the types of people who pick each branch and which ones you fit in best with.
Good luck! and I hope you go ARMY STRONG!
Hooah!

I'm an air force veteran and I liked it.
But honestly, every branch has a certain job to do and you should just go with whichever branch suites you.

I enjoyed m service in the Army...but m dad served in the Navy and my uncle the USAF.......the all have something different to offer. I suggest you consider their individual missions and then decide.
