No -- it takes a higher form of life to ponder existence and the origin of all things; a higher form to ponder good and evil; a higher form to have a sense of spirituality and desire a bond with the creator. While they have their limited intellect, the apes do not do such things. Such philosophical concepts are actually the product of a more capable mind.
