Yes. If an advanced race were looking down upon earth, they'd say, they're still at the crude stage of evolution, where man dominates the woman, should we give up on them Captain?

No -- it takes a higher form of life to ponder existence and the origin of all things; a higher form to ponder good and evil; a higher form to have a sense of spirituality and desire a bond with the creator. While they have their limited intellect, the apes do not do such things. Such philosophical concepts are actually the product of a more capable mind.

Gee... sounds smart, but how sad that someone would think belief in God is a stage.
There is a Creator - intelligent, loving, merciful, awesome...
It is we who have turned away from him and to ourselves.
