Those of us over 55 could still peruse the original Y!A at our pleasure. I am looking for some sort of dialog with my peers. They can be curious about subjects closer to our generation and info can be exchanged at that level. We can still help the younger ones. They certaily seem to take up most of the 'space' on Y!A -ok - but 'we' are here too. How about it?

Wouldn't it be great? I feel out of sync with all these young'uns. I love them all but it would be good to share answers with people of my age.

I respectfully disagree. Our advice is NEEDED here. We're really the most sane and qualified to give answers that have depth and meaning, on the whole.

By ourselves we would merely be preaching to the choir, and what would really be the point? The younger people can benefit by what we have to offer (those that are half-way sensible, any way).

Why? so the only people here with actual life experience can answer each others questions?

I would suggest another idea: separate Y!A for adults and kids....

I doubt it!
Yet it would be nice to have some maturity on y!A
