I dont know why this started happening to me..its been a week, there is some time in a day, when i feel like losing my breath. im only 19.its like putting a pillow on my face or smtng and i dont know where to run to get a breath im so scared. i even think about keeping the phone with me so when its serieous..i call emergency. i feel even more difficulty during eating. Plizz..would you tell me what this could be? n theres no pain.

I would see a doctor immediately. It could be an allergy asthma type attack or something else. But no one on yahoo answers can answer this for you, you need a full check up to diagnose and more importantly TREAT the problem. Don't wait until you have to call 911 see a doctor now.

There are lots of reasons for shortness of breath. Anxiety is a major one; so are you under a great deal of pressure at work or school?

Heart issues, thyroid issues, use of street drugs or alcohol, all can cause shortness of breath. Being overweight or seriously underweight can too.

DO NOT take a chance with your health. The best thing to do is to go see a doctor who will help you with his/her vast knowledge of causes.

It's probably asthma. Make an appointment with a doctor to get it diagnosed and treated.

sounds like either allergies or asthma. if there's no pain then i'm leaning more towards allergies. defenetly ask a doctor about this.

You should go see a doctor ASAP. It could be anything from anxiety to a lung disease. Go now!

you either got asma or you having anxiety attacks. i get them and they sound pretty much the same. so help me aswell!!!!

but it's definatly anxiety attacks!
