In order for someone to become a Christian they must repent of their sins.. Since practicing homosexuality is a sin, they must repent of it and they will no longer be gay (homosexual) so they can not be gay and Christian at the same time.

The answer is very simple, YES.
The Bible tells us in Romans 10 v 9 "If you confess with your mouth that 'Jesus Christ is Lord' and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead then you will be saved".
We all sin and keep on sinning even after we become a Christian God loves the sinner but hates the sin so in order to please God we must stop sinning. No sin is too bad for God to forgive Jesus has paid the price for EVERY sin not just some. We don't stop being a Christian when we sin or no one would be saved and Jesus death would be for nothing.
Here is how you can become a Christian:
1 Admit your need (I am a sinner).
2 Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
3 Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
4 Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)
Inheriting God's Kingdom and receiving salvation is not the same thing.

Yes just like anyone else if they repent and turn away from their bad ways they can. Christians are those who have repented and have changed their bad ways(ie. turned around)and now do what is good in the eyes of God and leave behind what is bad in God's eyes. Anyone can change and become a Christian, the only ones who can't is those who keep practicing the bad things that God hates. Yes we all had to give up some bad practices or others, we are all sinners and need to learn about God and his righteous ways and purposes. So by learning what is acceptable to God and then doing these things, anyone can become a Christian whatever they had done in the past before they came to know God and what is acceptable too him.

Of course a gay person can be a Christian. Why not? If you start excluding people from Christianity because they sin, then you won't have anyone left in the faith!

The answer is yes. Anyone can be a Christian. A Christian is a person who believes that Jesus of Nazereth was the Son of God our creator. I believe a gay CAN be a christian. But I wonder why they WOULD be. Christians seem to hate homosexuality. Not the person...the act.

Christian means of or believing in christianity.
Christianity is a religion based on the teaching of christ.
Christ is Jesus the figure that christians worship as the son of God.
The teachings of Christ comes directly from GOD -Jesus' father. He does the work of his father who is in heaven. According to God's words, immoral activities are forbidden.
God destroyed Sodom and Gommorrah because of that.
Hence a gay person cannot be a christian.

Yes, a gay person can be a Christian, but I don't know why one would want to be. Seriously, a gay person will generally get more respect from a New York cab driver than he would get in church.
