American Culture is what the American people like to do. For example: Eat fast food, play video games, watch porno, go shopping, drive using cell phones, argue among them and divide themselves in conservatives and liberals, watch Football games on Sundays, etc....

Diversity will destroy a Nation, just as it did Roman, if people that come here can not communicate with each other, they will separate and destroy each other. America has always been a melting pot with one language and one flag. what the hell is cultural Democracy must be some new liberal label. If you can't describe the American culture then you have not been here long enough or you and your family have not emerged into the American culture. The Melting pot is a reflection of our Nation. ( Not diversity.)

American Culture is how Americans live from day to day. Yes, there are many different cultures which make up these United States, BUT they all respect these United States and want to communicate WITH you and not talk down to you. The Constitution was written in ENGLISH and as well as the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights and all of our laws. Diversity in a nation is not possible when you have many different languages spoken...the nation will fall apart because no one can communicate and have the feeling of Unity which is needed in a nation.
What in the h*ll is "Cultural Democracy?" If you like your culture so much go back where you came from. THIS IS THE UNITED STATES.

Whether you like it or not, some of us did study history and our minds can't be rewritten like our kids' history books have been.
This country was founded by English speaking Western Europeans, most of whom were Christians and had a large place in their life for God and religion. The separation of Church and State is a load of crap, pulled from a personal letter written by Thomas Jefferson with the words "wall of separation" and taken way out of context by historical revisionists and an activist judiciary, perverting the Constitution in furthering their own vision of what America "should" be. All we have is a provision that we won't have a state sponsored religion that people will be forced to accept.
American culture was founded on a belief in individual freedom to pursue our dreams through hard work and self reliance. Immigrants are welcome so long as they have something positive to contribute and an earnest desire to become Americans. No way in hell did early Americans ever envision these entitilement programs and this culture clash with squabbling ILLEGAL immigrants from third world countries. This country was not founded on 3rd world principles, which explains why some cultures have a difficult time assimilating.
This country has been around for over 200 years, and we have developed our own unique, special culture. There is no "cultural diversity", other than the one cooked up by the feel-good liberals.

I don't like using phrases like "American Culture." You cannot define our culture so simply. We are all different. America is a country full of MANY cultures, even if someone like our good friend Hera doesn't like it. Even amongst each different race and region you have different views, interests, taboos, dress, values, and beliefs. That is a fact, not an opinion. I like "Cultural Democracy" a little better. It sounds a bit like a cheap label, but at least it captures the diversity of our country somewhat. Whether or not everyone likes it or not, not only is diversity a reflection of our nation, diversity IS our nation. That is what we are. Diverse. Few other words describe the culture of the United States better, because few other words apply to every single one of us.

American Culture is definitely diverse, but for me it has to do with our rights and the way they help us to feel. For my particular people it meant school, working, church and mom with a bar of soap to wash out our mouths when we say "bad" words" It means 4th of July fireworks and cookouts. It means faith that tomorrow will be better than today. It means that our children are suppose to have a better life than we did because we worked so hard to make it that way.
(The illegals have taken that last part away from us and our kids)
Cultural Democracy? We chose our own culture instead of having it chosen for us? To each his own as long as he remembers he's American First. Waive Old Glory high.

Yeah, but it is the melting pot v. multiculturalism (self segregation) issue.
And limiting immigration as a practical matter to a single country is not 'diversity'.
