First off, it Depends on the Nominal & Max Wattage of the Speakers. You want an Amp with MORE Max Watt's than your Speakers, yet Similar Nominal Wattage.

You also want to get an Amp with the SAME Impedance (Ohms) as the Speakers you are connecting it to.
You will want a Separate Amp for your 12" Kicker Sub's.

I would not replace your Factory Speakers, unless you have an Aftermarket Head-Unit (Radio/CD Player) in your Dash.
Stay Away from Sony X-Plode, and all that Crap they sell in Wal-Mart. Even Best-Buy has some crappy factory-replacement Speakers. Dont replace your Factory Speakers, unless you plan on Spending Alot of $$$!!

I would Recomend you check out SubThump.com, and SonicElectronix.com for Amplifiers.

I have an 800W Nitro 2 Ch. Amp for my Subwoofer. It Sounds Awsome, and Looks just as Good!! :D Your Kicker Comps will need more Watt's! Nitro makes Amps up to 2000 Watts!!

All you will get by asking these questions is opinions. I would say phoenix gold, rockford, jl, or planet audio. I really can't say anything about kicker or hifonics or some of the other brands because I haven't used them but the ones listed above are all competition grade stuff.

you need a big power amp with a lot of pre out setting but my advice would be two seperate amps one fo the subs and one for the 6x9s the power out put of the amp depends on the watts of the speaker but you can never go wrong with the quality of alpines systems
