I have been on zyban for 3 weeks and have not had a cigarette for three weeks. But the side effects are awful! Nausea, dizzyness, diarreah, headache, feeling absolutley knackered and sweating alot. I have put up with the side effects so far, dont ask me how! i want to know of anyone else quitting smoking whilst on zyban, as i am interested in how people are coping and if you have any side effects whilst on these tablets???

When i quit smoking I did a little research on different methods available. I did not choose zyban because of the side effects associated with it.

I used a natural remedy 'Crave-RX'. It was excellent in reducing the nicotine craving and withdrawal symptoms.

People react differently to different treatments crave RX worked for me. You might try it since it has no side effects and is very effective. Good Luck!!

I quit smoking about 8years ago I did use Zyban but did not experience any side effects but the fact is that I did not take zyban for long , after two weeks I found the smell of tobacco smoke so revolting I just stopped Zyban . Then started to take long walks and kept myself busy with some or the other activity. Since then I have never found the need to light up. iused to smoke 2packs a day, it would go to 3 if I am at a party. Keep at it you will susceed.

I'm taking zyban at the moment, been on them for nearly 2 weeks and so far apart from feeling a bit sick the first few days of starting taking them I've had no other side effects. Early days for me though and I am still smoking but have cut down on the amount.

i have an idea for you. there is a new drug out called chantix. it is to help you stop smoking. but it eases your off of it so you are not going through terrible withdrawls. ask your doctor. so far the sucess rates are really high!
