i think you should go for it this is 2007 its 50 50 in a relationship now. and if you do he should be proud to have a girl that have a lot of pride and encouragement

Guys usually love it when girls ask them out, especially in jr. high school. If there is a dance coming up, I would just ask him if he plans to go, and if he wants to go with you.

Go for it. Just tell him that you like him and ask him out,. Think of something fun that you can do together (and make sure it is ok with your 'rents) I dated a few guys(like 6ish) when I was younger. I only ever asked one out. I married him 4 years later!
