I too have this problem and the most i can tell you is to use a lotion with caffeine in it otherwise they do fade in time to a white color. There is a cream you can buy at most stores called maderma that is for scars but it is really expensive. I believe it's $25 a tube. There was a article about this in Cosmo magazine otherwise you can get laser treatments done, also really expensive. I would not worry about them that much because almost everybody has them and they will fade in time and be barely noticeable, just get a bottle of a better quality lotion.

It's just part of womanhood, they seem to bother women a whole lot more than they bother guys. When you have kids you would probably get them anyway, but when you get them at your age it's usually because your hips spread pretty fast, and if you have wide hips, thats a very good thing. From a guys pov, a girl with wide hips and stretch marks wins out over a girl with no hips and no stretch marks any day of the week.

My sister got two 10 pound+ baby-daughters and now, almost two years later, she has no stretch marks that she would be ashamed to show on California beach. Honestly, if you would have to use a microscope to see those.
Her secret was "Arbonne" skin care. Go to www.arbonne.com or better yet, www.EBay.com and get a sample of the skin treatment oil. You won't regret.

Mederma, it's a medicated ointment specifically for healing scars and scretchmarks.
I also suggest rubbing vitamin E oil on the stretch marks once a day.

You cant get rid of stretch marks with any lotions or creams. stretch marks are scars. they can only be removed with some form of surgery. Plus for those who get the reddish or purpleish stretch marks, those eventually turn white.

There's nothing you can do to get rid of stretch marks, I've had several doctors tell me this. I have them (I'm 16) and soooo many of my friends have them from just natural growth.
Just learn to love them and become comfy with them because almost every woman has them and it's a part of life.

vitamin e will fade it..so get any lotion that contains it or you can even buy gel capsules and poke a hole in them and rub the vitamin e oil that comes out on them on your stretch marks..also make sure you use cocoa butter all over your body every day to prevent new ones

I have tried several different types of creams, lotions from 5.00 to 80.00...Nothing worked....The good thing is, they fade.... In your case, yours will probably fade really light since it's not pregnancy related. Time can only help it. I have found that tanning helps mine
