My brother is getting married in Mississippi next weekend and I live in Califronia, I am broke and can't afford to go! I am so bummed out! Does anyone know how I can fly there for really really really cheap, like less than $300 bucks? Every website out there is quoting at least $450

Go to priceline. I got tickets on a Sunday to fly from LA to Connecticut that Tuesday. I had to buy 2 tickets, they were 275$ each, plus tax.

I think the Greyhound will get you there in 3-4 days:):) You better leave soon if you want to make it there on time.
Other options, such as winning the lottery, do not count. Nor does standing on the street and asking for donations. (Yes, someone asked me for a donation so she could travel).
Can your brother put in a few bucks?

You dont have to fly everywhere......take a train..then a bus....
the train is like100..and bus is prolly around there too....
Make sure when you get there to ask him for money so you can fly back if you want

hotwire.com is what I use. Also try cities close to where the wedding is like Memphis,TN. I am guessing you would be flying to Jackson?
