Yes it still exists and yes they still have viruses, it hangs on install and it opens your pc to sharing more than the Kazaa share file. It's a pain to remove so just don't do it. If you want music...Limewire...any free place that "gives" away software is going to come with problems..frankly as a Tech I'm tired of having to rip Kazaa from every little nook and cranny it likes to hide in. Programs come with spyware, adware, viruses and "cracks" that are not only illegal but can run another software program behind the scenes and change your entire registry. Just don't do it. There are several places in your town that sell used software, several websites, and several local software suppliers sell out of date software which is out of date in about 2 weeks for a considerable discount.

I caught 2 viruses with kazaa and you install adware with it. I use limewire and hd it for almost a year now and have no problems with it.

don`t use kazaa,2 much spyware and trojuns,,use limewire,its alot better

Well, peer-to-peer stuff isn't my cup of tea and most of it's illegal so I would stay away from that junk for right now. You're going to end up getting some kind of virus from Limewire, etc. if/when you use it anyway.

any PC2PC is bad for downloading viruses. plus you can be fined and jailed for downloading and uploading copy right Music, Movies, Video, Games, and most things...

check the news 70,000 people have been caught and fined.
