Drinking to get drunk is stupid so there is no right answer to this question. Ask yourself which brain cells do you want to lose to drinking? How many can you afford to lose? Do those questions help?

Don't get me wrong I have no problem with drinking in moderation, but I have no tolerance for drunks. They have done to much harm to our society.

Even when you drink in moderation I hope you have a designated driver. Keep your brain cells and memories, drink in moderation, stay intelligent!

By not drinking too much. Limit yourself, no matter the pressure, to three drinks an hour. The easiest way to do that is milk a beer.

Honestly, I you don't know--you shouldn't drink. I drink I like to have fun but I'm responsible. the previous answers to ME are weak propaganda answered from weak individuals. Drinking, like anything else in life, should,nt be done in excess. No one likes to see a drunk idiot. It's all how you see things in life. Rule of thumb--if it becomes a habit that rules you, then get rid of it, because it's not fun anymore---it's a habit.

Its impossible.Well, perhaps you wont do something stupid but the worse is,you might said something stupid about yourself or to others. So,avoid getting drunk then to keep you sane, but if you know your about to,then just prefer yourself for the next day's regret.

JUST SAY NO. Or just hold a cup, filled with water and sip on it all night and pretend to be drinking.
