But you're the only one who plays with them, Tony.

We celebrated all saints day in New Orleans, that's Nov 1 it's the lighting of the candles on the graves to keep the spirits in I guess kinda boring--but it had meaning, to the family members. Actually New Orleans was kinda of boring for Halloween.

well there are no halloween balls... at least none that i know of. and i have lived in new orleans for my entire life.

New Orleans is great for Halloween!! there are just different places in the city to go depending on your likes and dislikes.

If you like large crowds, good music, and lots of drinks then i recommend going to the French quarter! Everyone is dressed up for halloween! there are plenty of sights to be seen (so be prepared for the most bizarre things ever)! but its plenty of fun. if you like the rowdy touristy scene then go to Bourbon st. (which is in the french quarter). and if you want to meet some locals then go to Frenchman st. (which is also in the french quarter)

if you are a college student then go up town. there are lots of bars off of carrolleton and st. charles.

for a good family oriented place i would go to kenner! there is usually a huge block party on rebecca st. its great for kids and aldults. i know they have been trying to tone down the block party though because it has been getting out of hand in the last couple of years

but definately the french quarter is the most interesting, entertaining, and fun!
