Contacts were originally out of glass and the first pair to be sucessful were in 1887 and it could be that he asked Painters to retouch photos not photographers, but in all honestly...I have no idea, but I did find this website below that has this info in it.

The myth of Hitler as the "imperfect Aryan" with brown eyes is often spouted and propagated by the same individuals who would have us believe that Hitler was a Jew or a homosexual - myths which can be easily disproved and are completely rejected by mainstream Hitler biographers.
One of the first things people noticed about Hitler was his "large, clear, and blue eyes." Dr. Ernst Hanfstaengl remarks in his article in Collier's, August 4, 1934 that, He [Hitler] had clear blue eyes and in them there was neither guile nor fear. There was honesty; there was sincerity; there was a hint of scorn." When Karl Ludecke first heard Hitler speak, he wrote, "Hitler was a slight, pale man with brown hair parted to one side. He had steel-blue eyes[...]" Leon Degrelle says in The Enigma of Hitler that, "Hitler had deep blue eyes that many found bewitching." Sefton Delmer of the Daily Express wrote on 23rd February, 1933, "Hitler watched them for a few moments, a savage fury blazing from his pale blue eyes." Martha Dodd writes in her book Through Embassy Eyes that, "Hitler's eyes were startling and unforgettable - they seemed pale blue in color, were intense, unwavering, hypnotic."

if the technology was available at the time, he may have tried both contacts and photoshop. the truth is, what you heard was wrong. part of the interest in hitler stems from the fact that he did not fit the bill for the arian race. he was partly jewish and rumors of homosexuality were well known. he was so crazy that he would eventually kill himself, oh wait, he did.

that's not true. because contacts were not their way of changing the eye color. They injected dye into the eye. Regardless, Hitler did not do it. He was born with blue eyes.

The Aryan race, blond hair and blue eyes, is in itself wrongly described; the term Aryan really denotes someone of pure white blood -- the post-WWII KKK organisations in America, and modern day Neo-Nazis prove this terminology to be correct. It was this pure white bloodline that Hitler sought to promote and further -- why?
Because Hitler was 'racist'. He honestly believed that Jews, Slavs, Blacks, Asians, Arabs, and all non-white races were inferior to white people. They were tainting his bloodline -- and the bloodline of his fellow Germans. Never forget that Hitler was hugely nationalist; he was German through-and-through. Anything that attacked Germans was perceived as a personal threat by Hitler.

Trust me, this is fake. Hitler had dark blue eyes when he was born. I don't even think picture retouching and contacts were that efficient to use back then either.

Hitler's family was Jewish. That's one of the reasons that he wanted to kill all of the Jews, some of them might have known his true heritage.
