The people that are sinning are not true Christians, they are just using that as a cover.
Some Christians are pushy and/or far out there, but that is not the norm.
Just because you had bad experiences doesn't mean that every Christian is a bad person. Most Christians are accepting people that allow others to have different opinions/views of the world and respect such views.
Saying that because pastors commited crimes, Christianity must be a sham is like saying since teachers rape students sometimes, education is a sham. It's a fallacy.

Yeah maybe some crazy people turn their Lives to God ... but its because god doesn't care who you are. He dieded for everyone no matter how crazy they are... he died for murders rapists.... even people like Saddam and Osama they are people too. I don't know what kind of Christian insulted you like that but they obviously do not no God very well. Most Christians are awsome people looking to have fun! I would know I've grown up in Church all my life. I Never had a choice on what to believe because if I didn't believe what everyone else did then I wasn't right. See that's the thing I hate about Christians even though I am one. My friends at my church aren't like the people you describe,we are normal people sharing one common interest God. I have friends outside of church to that don't believe in God at all and never will but they are still my good friends I have nothing against them.sorry for the long speech...

You are classifying millions of Christians and followers of Jesus, according to a few instances you have experienced. Out of the few people you had experiences with, you met LESS THAN a drop in the bucket of Christians out of millions.
That is like saying, "I took a poll and 90% say Bush should be president."
"WOW!" some may say, "That's a LOT! 90%? WOW!"
HOWEVER the response should be, "Yes, BUT how many people did you actually poll? Surely not the WHOLE U.S.A. population."!
Do you see my point?
Try meeting more Christians, without preconceived notions. You will eventually find NOT ALL are like the ones you've come across.

This ignorant neurosis is dismaying but the evil is actually independant and comes from the people whether supported by the confusion of fantasy or not . Can anyone cure the criminal mind and how will an intelligence drug or schooling help wipe out ignorance when we teach it to our young ?
we need more than a scape goat or possible contribution to blame but a plan to change the problem.
Just as drugs don't cause all crime for it was there before the widspread use of drugs all sin is not from religion but there is a bigger picture and that picture probably does not need a false god to confuse matters.

Christians believe in Christ! The only differences between believers and non-believers is we know as a Christian we are loved and accepted by the Father! We are not perfect and God knows we will never be! But it is wonderful to be assured no matter how much it rains he will always provide us the umbrella! And as a non believer, I will never know when to come out of the rain and accept the providence that was already there waiting on me!

Not everyone who "claims to be a Christan" is one.
I would never debate you, but so you might understand the Christan point of view (even if you don't agree with it) they believe that if you do not accept Jesus as your Savior you won't go to Heaven.
So it makes them very concerned for you.You may not believe that and that's your free will choice to do so, but they really do that's their faith.
and it would be like this; if you really really thought that another human being was gonna get hurt or die and you could warn them, would you?
They really have a concern even if it seem trivial to you they care, sadly some people don't express their concerns the right way.
I hope this might explain it ,Peace

What you have described was a list of Christians who are rude, intolerant, and just plain stupid.
I have seen many atheists behave the same boorish way. Does this mean that Christians or atheists are crazy?
I believe the same ratio of stupid and rude people are the same on both sides.
To be fair, I have known many polite, kind, reasonable, and tolerant people on both sides as well. The ratio is quite equal.

I know this sounds very unlikely but maybe u have just had an unlucky run with Christians. I for one would never do any of the above things and agree that u would have to start to think that we Christians are a little bit loopy!

It's obvious that your paltry *four* experiences with Christians have been *extremely* limited!
Of course, the "lord of this world" (Satan, the fallen Arch-angel) wants you to believe that *all* Christians are like these *very few* that you have encountered, or heard about! Try expanding your horizons a little!

So all christians are crazy because of four experiences? There's good and bad in all beliefs, or lack of beliefs. Every race and nationality. Doesn't mean everyone is crazy or evil.
