It really depends on what you want to say.
Examples:
"For whatever reason he had..." would use "cualquier"... "Por cualquier motivo que tenía..."
"You can do whatever you like" would use "lo que"..."Puedes hacer lo que quieras."
But if it is the slang use of "Whatever!" then it's harder to translate. You could say:
"Ni modo"
"Como sea"
"Lo que digas"
"Como quieras"
...

Whatever in Spanish is 'cualquier.' I'm sure there are many ways you can say 'whatever' because the word can imply anything. Since Spanish is so widely spoken, there are many Spanish dictionaries that you can use online. http://www.tomisimo.org/ is an excellent example.

there is two ways to say it one whick is the mean "whatever is sayed as "Y QUE" or The one thats used frequently "Que Importa"
