Once ever couple of weeks I see this really cute girl walking around my office building. We work for separate companies but work in the same building.
Anyhow, I randomly came across her myspace page while I was bored...is it inappropriate or just plain weird to say hi thru myspace? We've casually spoken before but have never even exchanged names...I just don't want to create some uncomfortable situation...I am interested in her I just don't really get a chance to ever say much more than "hi" and a couple words here and there...

It might communicate something to her about you since you found her myspace. It would definately say that you like her. If you do contact her through myspace she will know.
I would ask her out for lunch sometime, if you do message her. Make new friends.

It's perfectly okay to say hello through myspace but I would go out of my way to speak with her in person as well.

Ask her to be your friend and see what unfolds after that. Life's too short to worry about 'uncomfortable situations' so go for it, chances are she's probably thinking the same thing about you.
