you were best friends all that time and then when you told him your feelings he freaked and just wanted to be friends only... not bf-gf. And this gets weird for a lot of people bc they dint know what to say or do or how to react. This sometimes freaks people out, boys or girls, when the other tells them their feelings without ever going out, dating first or all that. You are experiencing puppy love and it will pass as soon as you find other boys to be friends with and maybe date.
You'll be fine and it will just take a little time..Dont force yourself on him if he is around. His ations will let you know what to do. Just smile and be glad you learned this lesson early in life.

Awwwww!!!!!........Girl I feel your pain. I can't believe your best friend would stab you in the back like that and go out with him. Sounds to me like he may be a bit embarassed because he wasn't expecting the love note. He probably feels wierd now and doesn't know how to act around you.Show him it's okay by talking to him and asking him if you guys are still friends. Don't give him another note though. Do it face to face when she's not around. To get his attention just say "Whats up?" and then start talking. Make sure you tell him everything that went down like how your friend said she didn't like him before.Let him know that you and him have been best friends since the 1st grade and you don't want to throw it all away over something so small. Im sure you guys will be friends again soon. I don't know about the other girl though. Sounds like you need to have a long talk with her about this if you guys are really friends because that wasn't right. You deserve that boy more than she does because she's a back stabber and a trador.Your in love so go back and claim whats rightfully yours lol . Good luck!

You are his friend. You just crossed a line and may suffer serious consequences because of it. The blowing kisses thing means nothing, it's a way of saying hi. I have guy friends who does the same thing, usually they're flirting but it means nothing. Put yourself in his shoes. If one of your guy friends told you they loved you how would you react? Your friendship may or may not be the same but if your friendship means a lot to you then just stay friends. Would you rather have him as a friend or not in your life at all?
I had this guy friend who I could talk to about anything and I regarded him as a brother. One day he flat out told me he loved me. Now almost two years later, I haven't spoke to him since because the relationship didn't feel the same. You're lucky he's still friends with you.

AHA I like the first answer. You're best friend is a ***** and the guy is a d.ick for disrespecting you like that. You only want him because he doesn't want you. It's normal, you just have to move on. I know it sounds so simple and you think "I cant!" Yes, it's possible. It's proven very successful all over the world.

Ah when you're young.... OK not to sound condescending, but teenagers do not know what they want and everybody wants attention, friends can be very fickle when you are young. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do but live and learn. Enjoy...and you can always find another guy or blow kisses at someone else. Have some fun when you're young...and old!

First of all, you need 2 talk 2 your friend. You guys wouldn't want 2 "fall out" over a boy. Because you will regret it in the long run. I think the both of you need 2 leave him alone. He's going 2 cause problems. If he knew you liked him, but still went out with your friend........?!

yeah I agree with her !! punch your best friend in the face and find some new friends. This isn't the end of the world you will move on and find plenty of new friends. It is just highschool crushes. 20 years from now you will be laughing at this.

Open your eyes. There are more guys out there to be friends with or to date. Your life isn't going downhill. Your life is just getting started.

Nonsense! You're not in love and never have been. You're in something commonly known as puberty. But don't worry, there's a cure for it. It's called the process of growing up. Try it.
