Hey,

I live in Massachusetts and just got done serving jury duty in March 2007 (this month). It was for Massachusetts Superior Court; I was on a jury. Can I still get a summons for Federal District court or Grand Jury before my 3 years without service to the state are up? People I work with (not my boss, who was cool with it and totally understanding) got a tad upset that they had to cover me for the 3 days I was serving and would like to reassure them that I won't be getting called away again anytime soon.

Jury duty depends on the quantity of cases that are filed. Thus, you could be called anytime by the other courts for duty. You need not worry about your work because your absence is justified.
