i cant find the system restore??

click start
all programs
accessories
system tools

but i cant find the system restore..how do i restore?

That's strange. I just checked and that's exactly where mines was. Hmmm. It's probably disabled in the system properties. If not, try clicking the "run" program in your start menu and type in system restore then hit enter. If that doesn't start it run your restore disks - hope you have them. What are you running by the way?

ok if you are using windows xp. since you can't find it on system tools (weird) go to help and type system restore it will give you several subject or results go to the one that says 'run the system restore wizard' that will start system restore and you can take it from there.

What OS do you have? WinXP? If yes, maybe the System Restore has been disabled via registry.
If it's Win98 or below, it has no System Restore.
