so this guy likes me, when we are far apart he stares at me all the time and smiles and he always follows me and all his friends look at me and its like they know who iam and he told all his friends that he likes me, but when he is right next to me, its like he ignores me? is he shy?? help please!

Generally, guys who do this are shy. Take a chance and put yourself out a little to find out. Have you tried to strike up conversation? The truth is, you won't know till you try. Anything you think could be a good thing may not always be a good thing, but without trying how would you ever know?
