Erika,
I feel sorry for people like you. Kent Hovind didn't put Atheists to shame, He was a liar and a thief, a horrible role model, and half the time didn't know what he was talking about. He never answered anything put in front of him.

Midnight, search for his name in google video, or youtube. You'll cry with laughter when you hear him speak.

Normally, I'm an atheist. However, when I found out Kent Hovind was going to prison, I jokingly said, "There is a God!"

Kent Hovind have been given some undesirable advice from a criminal expert who believes the earnings Tax rules are actually not criminal. They set up their Dinosaurland journey Park so as that each and every person who the IRS theory replaced into an worker, replaced into to them a sub contractor in charge for paying their very own taxes. in addition they accrued countless funds from the folk vacationing the park and to keep away from IRS reporting they might each and every so often positioned area of the money in the economic organisation on sometime and area the subsequent. The IRS claimed Hovind could have paid group individuals as workers and issued them W-2's as a replace of 1099's. So their 30 or so workers paid their very own taxes, however the IRS claimed payroll withholding could have been achieved, it wasn't. So as a replace of having their taxes as quickly as a week by Tax Deposits, the IRS have been given their money quarterly from each and every group member, that have been called "Missionaries" by Hovind. i think of the IRS replaced into on a witch hunt. I communicate frequently on the telephone with the Hovind kinfolk approximately this. The case, as I comprehend it, continues to be under attraction. Edit: I stand corrected. The appeals have all run their direction so the call i assume will stand. Very unhappy in case you question me.

***Almost*** makes me want to say, "There IS a god!" :-D :-D :-D
@Erika, if you believe half a syllable of what that man says, then you are *dangerously* out of touch with reality. He's so loopy that even many young-Earth creationists want nothing to do with him. Answers in Genesis disowned its American chapter at least in part due the Americans' refusal to disavow the jerk.
He's also a shameless liar and a cheat. A look at his pretend $250,000 challenge shows that.

It's probably a good thing that he's locked up. He didn't just have ridiculous views on the creation of the world; he also believed in all those nutty conspiracy theories. He thought the government did 9/11, killed JFK, orchestrated World Wars I and II, created AIDS, all diseases, and everything else you can imagine. The longer he's unable to spout that nonsense where people can hear it, the better.

"Render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's"
You mess with the bull (I.R.S.), you get the horns. "Dr." Hovind was defiant to the end. His legacy will be nothing more than a joke and his teachings will leave a black mark on Christians everywhere.
