Hebrews 10:
26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Romans 6:1
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
We are saved by Faith in Jesus, because of Grace.
Do we not still have work to do?
James 2:14-20

I am not saying we are not going to sin, But can we SEEK OUT to break God's Commandments because "WE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW" . Many have made God's Commands VOID, as to Honor Grace.
But, no where in the Bible does it say, that. Contrary, Grace should pust you to keep the Law more,

Everyone sins.
We know what the Bible tells us, but in many cases we do not read the WHOLE BOOK, in order to find out what ALL is considered sinning.
We are to become born-again by Salvation through Jesus sacrifice on the cross.
We are to then ask forgiveness of sin we do and do not know we might have done in the past.
Once saved we must continue to strive NOT to sin, however this does not make us infallible to sin or it's consequences. Neither does it make us saved and always saved, where that we never sin again after salvation. This is a common belief which has no foundation.
The Bible tells us that we can actually become a backslider, but that God is married to the backslider. This means that you can return to him after sinning while we are saved, and He will forgive us.
HOWEVER we are not to sin intentionally, and if we do we must be completely submissive and be humble in our asking of forgiveness. We must then ask for forgiveness when we are TRULY SORRY for what sin we have committed. AND ... we must strive not to return to any sin we've been forgiven of, because if Jesus would return for His Bride we want to be ready and spotless from unforgiven sin. SHOULD we die before we are forgiven I believe God knows whether we were truly sorry for that sin or not, even if we had no time to ask Him to forgive us.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
I am not saying that all sin will be forgiven in all cases, for there is also supporting Biblical scripture which states some shall be turned over to reprobate minds. This is instances wherein the person has sinned to the degree that God knows he will always return to sin no matter His leadings or conviction.
SEE: (Romans 1: 18, 28)
The King James version renders it as a "reprobate" mind. "Reprobate" includes the idea of "debased" but has other shades of meaning applicable to the context of Romans 1. "Reprobate" includes the sense of being depraved, morally corrupt, abominable, unprincipled, apostate, and accursed.

In Romans 15:16 your answer is found. It says we are sanctified by the Holy Spirit. This means that after we become a Christian, we are set aside or made holy by God. This doesn't mean that we will remain sinless, as Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Sin can and will separate us from our walk with God, but conviction usually comes sooner or later and we feel the need to confess our short comings to Christ and ask for more forgiveness. God forgives us because He loves us so very much. He knows that we cannot live a sin free life on our own and that is why He sent Jesus to die on the cross - for our sins, past, present, and future. Actually, we are already forgiven for anything we will do in the future, but we feel conviction of these things because we know whatever we did was wrong and want to make it right again so we can feel the joy that God gives us. He tells us in His Word that there is none without sin, no not one. And He still forgives.

We keep the law not for salvation, we are already justified by Yahshua (Rom. 3:24, 28). We keep the Law because this is the WILL of the most High (Mattithyahu 5:17-19, Rev. 14:12, James 2:10, etc). We keep the Law because it is The Most High's definition of the first two commandments: how to love Him, and how to love our neighbour. And Yahshua said, "On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.(Mattithyahu 22:40)
Yokhanan 14:15 "If you love me keep my Torah"
Rom. 3:31 "Does it follow that we abolish Torah and make it invalid through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary we uphold the Torah"

Nonsense. Jesus did not come to take away the law, He gave us a new covenant and He fulfilled the law. Wages of the sin was death, and He died. We get saved only by the mercy and grace of God through Jesus. But we need to keep the law.
We can sin,and we will, but God does not give us permission to sin. We will, and that is the place where the mercy kicks in. God knows our hearts. : )

In the old days, all men lacked God's grace, so a single sin could and often did damn them to hell.
Today, the only thing that can damn a Christian to hell is obstinately sinning without remorse, without apology, and without repentance.
An attitude like that reflects a complete lack of charity (love) and a purely selfish nature, which denies the effectiveness of God's grace (a lack of faith) and squanders the merits of Christ's sacrifice (a direct insult to God).
Hell is probably full of souls like that.

Jesus Christ said, "If you love Me keep my Commandments" that means the Ten Commandments that was written by God's own hand.
My understanding is that "Moses Laws" were ceremonial to the Israelites and the Tabernacle and it was kept on the outside of the "Ark of the Covenent" or separate from the Ten Commandments.
...but, I think, that you should research more of this if you can. may God bless you in your search for Truth.

What a awesome question. First Salvation is just the starting point, we have are whole lives to work out our relationship with God. as for the question can i go on sinning and still be a "christian" Yeah and it would be lots of fun. but there is more that God and you can do if you choos to give up this that you are holding just for you. and guess what it will be the hardest thing you do because the is an devil out there that dosent want you to grow but wants you to die. don't let your sin keep you from going back to God because God does not conden he forgives.

I think the Romans scripture that you quoted explains it quite well. To paraphrase: "Should we just sin all we want so we can take more advantage of grace?" That is: "Should we just go around sinning with the plan to use grace later?"
The answer, of course, is no. We shouldn't sin with the plan to take advantage of grace later. We should avoid sin. But when we do, grace is possible through repentance and the power of Jesus Christ.

Grace is God reaching out to save those who can not save themselves. "We do not save ourselves; it is by grace that we receive enough evidence to believe in Jesus' atonement for us.
It is by Grace that God imparts His Spirit within us to convict us of Sin, Righteousness, and Judgment.
That same Grace imparts to each man a measure of faith.
In fact, we do not find God, but it by His grace that we are called "sons of God."
Let me say it again, it is all grace--God reaching out to mankind. BUT, some think that because of all this, we need not obey Him. The old covenant included a sacrificial system, we are not under that any more, so that LAW was atypical and "nailed to the cross" but under the "new covenant" God writes His law on our hearts and in our minds. AND THAT IS GRACE, TOO.
There is much more on exactly how one is saved or lost published at www.revelado.org/666.htm Another site posted below describes Islam in Bible prophecy--you need be concerned.

We have a free will to obey or to sin
the choice is ours
Grace covers our sins if we sin we have an advocate with the Father who is just to forgive us
Yet. The best is not to sin
That is the choice
The lower life or the higher realm of the Kingdom Life
