It's important to first understand acne so that you can properly treat it. It effects people of all ages and is not caused by poor hygiene, diet, or stress, but rather is the result of overactive hormones. Arbonne has a great Clear Advantage line specifically designed to treat acne. The four step system includes a dietary supplement to support skin from the inside out that works to target troubled skin with vitamins, minerals and L-Lysine, an amino acid, wash, toner, and lotion. The wash is a deep-cleaning wash that unclogs pores, while keeping outbreaks under control with acne-fighting salicylic acid that prevents new blemishes, without drying your skin. The toner is blended with Alpha Hydroxy Acids to help balance and calm skin, removing excess oils leaving the skin clean, soothed, and refreshed. The oil-free lotion penetrates pores to combat blemish-causing bacteria, while soothing and clarifying skin.
All of Arbonne's products are pure, safe, and beneficial and formulated with natural botanicals. Arbonne's products do not contain alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, or mineral oil that are known to cause irritation and dryness, so you can be sure that you're using a natural products with key ingredients for maximum benefit. If you're using products that contain ingredients that might cause irritation, dryness, or blemishes you may want to stop. Also, do not overly wash your face or scrub as this spreads acne. NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Well, don't throw out water because water DOES improve your skin. It may not help with acne but it helps the skin underneath that acne. What you DO need, however, is Accutane. It's a very potent acne medicine that you take for about...5 to 6 months and it's NOT cheap unless you or your parents have insurance. Seriously, look into it and ask anyone who was on it. I was on it for a month and it cleared my stuff out for good. It has a lot of possible side affects, but just see if you can consult a dermatologist. You WILL eventually have to consult one to get this taken care of.

THIS WORKS FAST & CHEAP!!!
I used Tetracyclin, Proactive, Retina A and had many expensive facials with less than good results.
This has worked for me and many many other happy people. Go to pharm.,Drug store, or Walmart,
buy "PURPOSE" bar of soap - Blue box - Made by Johnson & Johnson - wash your face with this
2-3x's per day. Also pick up a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream, apply the cream by dabbing
to the individual blemishes.... DONT rub it in works using a oxidation/reduction reaction...DONT over
use this or put anywhere else on your face.. It will cause drying and make you look worse. Also, If need
which probably will for moisture ASK FOR "NUTRADERM lotion" - the orginal not the new stuff, this works
great and wont clog pores or leave a residue on your skin...Additonal TIPS: acne, pimples, etc are
frequently cause by a bacteria or hormone issues.... DONT PICK POP POKE (your hands are the
dirtiest part of your body) and will cause: infections, spreading of germs, more breakouts and scarring
DONT EVER listen to people online who tell you to scrub your sensative skin or use harsh chemicals
such as: Lemon juice, vinagar, alcohol, etc... DONT EVER use that APRICOT CRAP!!! DONT USE
PROACTIVE- this is expensive and harsh it may kill the bacteria cause also Benzoyl based wash but
will irritate skin and cause bleaching of face and neck.... Other similar treatments may work.. also
things such as Accutane but have serious side effects.... THIS WORKS FAST AND CHEAP!!! I no
longer get expensive facials, take oral antibiotics, or even NEED makeup... I am very happy - Have
very good skin... and have many many other happy friends... THANKS again to my WONDERFUL
DERMATOLOGIST... TRY THIS!! GOOD LUCK.... PS. "PURPOSE" costs about $3

Girl, I feel your pain!!!! I'm 20 years old, and mine still has not gone away. I'll have a few days out of the month where my skin looks okay, and then it will flare up. I get these big knots that hurt like crazy. I look like I'm growing horns out of my face!! :) My mom still has the same exact problem. I don't know of anything that works, but I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. I wish you all the best in finding a great treatment!!!

i have just the thing for you! you won't believe it when you try it for a few days...and then everything is gone. neutrogena clear pore cleanser/mask does it, worked for every single friend and family member i reccommended it to!!!
i've perfected the procedure - works EVERY TIME:
step 1: apply a liberal layer of the cream on all affected areas, let dry two minutes.take a clean wash cloth and run it under extremely hot water, as hot as you can touch without burning yourself. unfold cloth quickly and press to face firmly until it cools down entirely. reapply a thin layer of cream, let dry two minutes, and repeat hot washcloth. this is amazing - because you will see that the swelling and redness of each pimple will decrease drastically within the next five minutes, and you will have fairly smooth and squeaky clean skin! this is not permanent, however - it is only preparation for Step 2.
Step 2: before you go to bed, after step 1, apply very small dots of this cream to the surface of each pimple on your face (the ones you can find!). spread over reddening, oily areas too, verrry thinly. although the directions say it should not be left on more than ten minutes (for the mask), this is spot treatment and very small, and it WORKS. keep it on overnight, and wash as normal in the morning.
after about three days, your pimples will be small and dried out. repeat the procedure every day at night, until all is gone. this is the only thing that has worked for me. try it!!!

I got acne at age 12 too and it didn't go away till age 15 because I used this really good medication called Benzaclin clindamycin - benzoyl peroxide gel............. Before I used that gel I used Proactive,Tazaroc, and Differin. None of those worked! I think you should use Benzaclin clindamycin because my face is clear now. I am 16 now by the way.

You can go and see a dermatologist to treat this acne.
You can also try other medication for acne other than Proactive. Such as, salicylic acid. It prevents your hair follicles from shedding excess skin and clogging your pores, therefore treating the cause of most acne and blackheads.

Wash your face twice a day. I think that Clinique works very well. Also Differin I thinks works well, but it is expensive. Go to a dermatologist and see if it is right for you. And soda doesn't cause acne.
