It's not about religion, per se... and I cannot think of many people who think buddhism is dangerous. It is the extremeists of christianity and islam that give religion an image of "bad" or dangerous.
Between suicide bombers and psychological (you're going to hell) bombers, these things certainly misguide people.

its not true that a religion is dangerous.
its the false interpretation of religion which is dangerous.
all religions preach almost the same things in the end, but they have different approaches towards it,and it depends on the individual to choose the best approach towards religion or spirituality.
i personally really appreciate Buddhism and its priciples because i like its approach, therefore i may interpret some other religion which is not similar to Buddhism as dangerous, even though the other religion is as divine as Buddhism.

The bad thing about religion is that we will never be
close to the Lord God
And religion seperates all of us from each other
There are religious wars and battles
and religion says we are not good enough to serve the Lord
And Buddhism is seen as bad because
you are born over and over again
from this life to another life over and over again
You have to decide on what is good or bad we all make
choices good or bad which can harm us
and we are all human

Buddhism is not about hate and bigotry, like some other religions. Buddhism is far superior in my opinion. Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.

I found Buddhism to be extremely practical ... consisting of Psychology and Philosophy ...something that you'd almost never find in other traditions. Everything is straightforward. And they don't reject any other tradition. They take the "know thyself" to the next level.
I found a "Buddhist Propoganda" on you tube a couple of days back ...and found that it made no sense really. The most peaceful religion on earth definitely gets a lot of votes from us atheists. The religious fanatics don't really get the point of meditation , and they don't understand their own god, so i dont really expect them to understand the buddhist practices.

I am most certainly a non-theist...but buddhists make far more sense than any other religion I can think of. They don't evangelize or judge others. Take a close look at Buddhism. Very interesting.

Any religion that says, "This is the way things are" is bad because it's implicitly saying, "If somebody thinks things are another way they are wrong". I guess guddhism falls under that.
Of course some religions take it a step further and say, "This is the way things are and if somebody thinks differently it is an insult to god so persecute them". I don't think I have to tell which ones those are.

Buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion. The Buddha never claimed to be some kind of diety. (The word "Buddha" simply means "one who woke up". Religion is only harmful when it make adherents seperatist and/or elitist.
