I'm sure there's an answer but I tried searching and it wont let me w/ the word "TV" cause its too short.

Anyway. IM wondering how to connect my Macbook Pro up to my TV to watch videos. I know of the adapter Apple sells but I believe it only allows video and not sound. Am I supposed to use this and then go out my 'sound output'? or is there another device I can use?

Also I know of the APPLE TV and thats NOT what im looking for.

You need a cable that goes from your headphone jack to the RCA ports on your TV. I use a normal 3 cord-ed RCA cord and an audio splitter, but there are probably special computer to TV cabels as well.
