I am currently enjoying a semi-sweet red grape wine....mmmm it was VERY nice. Kind of tasted like the wine we have at the catholic church...except not as harsh.

My favourite at the moment is a nice Calvet, Reserve, Bordeaux 2003. It's a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

My favorite red at the moment is a Dolcetto Lagrein blend from Heartland Wines (an Australian brand).

Currently, my favorite red is Franciscan Merlot, 2002....and favorite white is Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, 2005...from Valdadige area in Italy....these are my "house" wines served at dinners and parties.

Try a German white wine. I suggest a Spaetlese from Piesport. (Try to get one that says "Mit Pradikat" on the label) Very nice wine. Serve chilled.
