I had someone to chat with at lunch and I found a CD of rainstorm sounds to fall asleep to...

I broke my foot playing basketball on Saturday the 10th of this month. I went to the ER and they told me it was broken in three places and that it was badly splintered. The they mentioned the possibility of needing surgery.

I don't have insurance so I was pretty worried about how I would pay for it.
...lets just say God works in miraculous ways. I recieved a priesthood blessing the same day. When I saw a specialist they were very confused as to what the ERT's had said. The orthodpeidist said I would be back to normal in about 6 weeks, no surgery required.

I'm always thankful to my Heavenly Father, family, and church...The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Honestly tonight and especially when I read so many answers on this forum that deny or mock The Lord, I am eternally grateful for:
An opened heart to accept and love Jesus
An opened mind to take in and understand His Word
Opened hands to reach up to Jesus in worship
Opened eyes to see where His guiding light leads me
Opened ears to hear His voice in my entire being
Opened temple (my body) for the Holy Spirit to dwell in
Opened life in order to share His Word with others........

I still have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and I am not in the condition of the new homeless man I met today and hung out with. Cancer, Hep c and all his friends have turned against him. He also claims that his family has gone. What amazed me is that he still voiced a belief in God and was thankful for what he did have. Who am I to complain?

My salvation through Jesus Christ.
My wonderful wife of over 28 years.
My special seven children who are all Christians.
My friends.
My enemies.
All that God allows in my life to refine me and make me more like Christ.

Iam thankful for the love and guidance that Jesus surrounds me with. For the blessings He has bestowed upon my family, for good health, a roof over my head and my loving family. God Bless
