I think you should tell her. You never know until you ask. She could have feelings for you too but might be afraid to tell you. What's the worst that could happen? Even if you find out she doesn't like you it's ok. I'm sure you will find another girl that you like in the future. I hope this helps. Take care

I know how you feel. I thought it was easier on guys but I guess not. Try to talk to her to get to know her. If you are students talk about school or about the weather, work, etc. Anything to get a conversation started without sounding desperate. If you show an interest in her then she will respond so you'll know where you stand. Good Luck!

Are you guys close or you've just been watching her from a distance? If you don't ask her, you'll always wonder, 'what if?'. so what do you really have to lose? if you guys are already close, but she doesn't like you in return, she'll just politely let you know, so you really have nothing to worry about. Chances are, if she doesn't already like you, knowing how you feel will bring you guys closer together anyways!

there is nothing to be afraid of. go with your own instincts. if you get turned down, yeah it might lower your self esteem but there are a lot of ladies out there. if you don't ask, you'll never know and that is the worst thing to ever look back on.

Get use to "REJECTION" early son. It will be a many people that will not like you and for no reason at all. I think the best approach would be is to become her friend first. For all you know, you may not like her. Quit being serious and carried away over outward appearances, it's her inner beauty that counts. Ask her out to a movie or to the library to study, If she frowns and doesn't like the library,FORGET HER! she doesn't deserve you.
