(In a sense) Liberal republicans, indeed. I would say it's more extreme both ways. To some liberterarians (I'm an example), there's not that big of a difference between a democrat and a republican.

Elf Wizard Arysa, that's very interesting. There's a big difference between libertarian points of view and anarchist points of view.

Yes, I am one. I believe Jesus loves freedom much more than Americans do. He taught all about self-government just in the principle of people loving God and their neighbor as the basis for life; that is what compels them to do the right things--not the govt. I believe Jesus would favor legalizing drugs and prostitution simply because people need to decide what to do with their own bodies rather than govt. When govt puts a gun to everyone's head to require morality, morality becomes fake, e.g., growing drug abuse. But when people follow God doing the right things and ignoring drugs and prostitution are easier and God brings life rather than those. The tragedy of Socialism, where the US is rapidly heading due to Republicans increasing discretionary spending by 40% last 12 years, is that there are many more regulations that shut people down and harm the poor, taking away job opportunities and freedom. In the US, as Ronald Reagan always said, "the govt is the enemy."

I'm Libertarian only because they wouldn't let me register as Anarchist when it was time to register to vote. The lady said to "go with Libertarian instead."

Almost all the libertarians I know are atheist. They are, in a sense, liberal republicans.
