Unconstitutional. Its find for faith based organizations to do charity. They do great work. But getting the government involved is not wise. Fiath based organizaitons have the right to deny access to people who do not follow thier beliefs, which is not fair since all people in the USA pay taxes, regardless of thier faith. For this reason it should not be permitted. When the government and religion mix, both are compromised.

There should be a dollar for dollar tax reduction for the individual contributor. Most faith based groups are more efficient than the government. I know as I volunteered and gave in Waveland Mississippi (ground zero) after hurricane Katrina wiped their butts clean. There would not be any rebuilding if it were not for the many groups that gave of their time and money. By the way they still could use a hand as the government still has not come through for the majority yet.

Walk the talk

It is an effort to encourage social help back to the church and other organizations where it once was. It is intended to provide help for those who might otherwise look to the government (you and me as tax payers)
However, many organizations have opted to not sign up as the laws would dictate who the organization must help, impose quotas, and too many dictates.

Good idea if not for lawyers.

I have not heard them all but he is the one we elected and we are suppose to stand behind Him in his decisions. We may not agree with him but we are to back him. You know when I am arount people who complain about any elected official. My first question to them is did they vote. If they say they did not vote, then I tell them(in a nice way) do complain. Their time to speak/act was on election day. If you don't think enough of your leaders to go to the polls and vote on election day, then don't complain about the rest of our choices. By the way, I did not vote for him but He is my President. May God Bless U.

I'm sorry, but I am so disappointed and disgusted with Bush that I can't give him any objective compliments.
