I burned myself cooking chicken. The grease was a combination of butter+olive oil+canola oil. It is turning red and hurts badly. What should I do?

Any burn either superficial (1st degree) or full thickness (3rd degree) the initial treatment is the same.

Run under cool running water for ten minutes or until pain settles, if a blister is present, don't pop, the blister is the body's way of preventing infection, so seek medical attention, in the burn area is bigger than your hand then seek medical attention NOW.

Do not apply anything other then Silverdine burn cream.

Get that burn in cold water as soon as possible! If it blisters do not break the blister. Keep it in cold running water for at least 30 minutes. DO NOT put butter or any kind of grease on it you are already cooked. (people actually do that) That includes any ointments or petroleum jelly. After you have cooled the area you can put some aloe vera jel or a sunburn spray on it and cover lightly with gauze. If the burn is large, go see your doctor for some silvadine cream. Hope this helps.

Ahoy! You or someone need to jam to the nearest drugstore
or supermarket and buy a tube of Triple Antibiotic Ointment.
It kills pain on contact, heals wounds 3 times faster and will
reduce scarring! Nothing like it. Name brand or generic
works the same! Be sure to apply it three times a day.
It's great for burns, cuts or any owie that hurts like a s.o.b.

place the burn under the cold tap for 20 Min's. after that go down to the hospital to get it checked out as it is a mixture of oils and they would be the best people to tell you what is best.

Cold Water...hold it under cold running water til the burning stops then apply neosporin ( brand or generic). don't use ICE, it will make it worse. It will freeze the skin and when it thaws--OUCH!!! Don't cover the neosporin if you can keep uncovered it's best.
