I took Ambien for a while and had espisodes of sleep walking with it. But I've taken Lunesta for several months now and don't show any side effects from it. So I guess it depends on the person's own chemistry as to how it will effect you. All I know is to try it and see.

I don't know but I wish I could get a prescription for Lunesta. I used to take Ambien and that was pretty great but I've heard some very good things about Lunesta.

My mom who also takes high blood pressure medicine tried this and Ambien. Neither one had an effect on her. My grandma who is on blood pressure meds took it too and said she felt horrible the next day. I would say it doesn't act well with other medicines, but taking it alone might help. Also, age and other ailments might have an effect on how you sleep.

I have and it works fine. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth and you should go to bed when you take it.
Don't take it with benadryl or the xanax without getting an okay from your doctor though.
