Friends, it happened last week.
i was going straight, the other car was parked against the curb and when i approached they suddenly tried to make a U-Turn, probably didn't see me coming, i tried my best but couldn't stop the collision. Went to my insurance but they won't cover any damaged because its a liabality insurance. the other party was on fault, called their insurance, provided all the details and the police report, they told me finally that they can't pay because it was not their driver fault but instead i was on fault. What to do now, who would tell whoes fault it was????
any and all help is appreciated !!

The police report should determine the fault.
Sounds to me that it was the other driver at fault though.
Did you take the police report to your insurance company?
Let your insurance company fight the battle. Thats what you pay them for.

A police report does NOT determine fault. If you had collision insurance this would not be an issue. Sounds like you may as well save up and pay for your damages.

From what you describe, the other driver's insurance should pay, and he should have been charged by the police with failing to leave a parking spot in safety, or some similar offence. If he wasn't charged, then there may be more to the story. Have you reported to your own insurance? They may be better equipped to deal with the other company.

Sounds to me they were at fault--they weren't looking.
