Why would you think that?

No...because God has the power to make the medicine helpless inside our bodies. and when we pray....medicine is one way God heals us. before there was medicine....there was just herbs. that was Gods way....and God allowed mankind to find an easier and more useful way. He didnt reveal everything...but He did for some things. people with diseases...there may not be a cure but they can be cured with God...and only through Him. whether its a pagan thats sick or an atheist or a Christian...doesnt mater...God will do it if He wants. God does whats best for us....not what we think is best for us. if u take medicine that doesnt mean we don't believe in prayer...but God says that He helps people who help themselves...if u just rely on prayer when u r sick but go and jump around not worrying about anything....chances r u rnt gonna get better but who knows. Medicine makes us feel better. i just learned in school that medicine doesnt even heal u....it just takes away symptoms...its antibiotics that do but there isnt antibiotics for everything. like the flu....taking medicine just relieves the fever but u r still sick. there arent any anitbiotics for the flu. God can allow ur body to heal or not to heal. our body has to heal on its own....the medicine doesnt do that. so yeah.

Paul (in the Bible ) was a Doctor.
Christian know Gods voice and we obey it.
If God said pray only ,then we pray.
If God said go to the Doctor, then we do.
I do pray over everthing that goes in my mouth, even medicine.<><

Once I had to care for my grandma with terminal cancer. I had to give her something to make her sleep for the night, it was a weak sedative. She calmed down ok, but wouldnt want to wake up. When she did wake up she was more confused than ever.

Later i learned that I could calm her down a lot more by reading form her prayer book that she read every day since who knows when. She not only calmed down, but was able to face death a little more bravely.

Talking about going to hell if she took a medication? It would have been cruel to say the least.

You can take meds. God created the doctors who discovered the meds or treatments. It still comes from God. He knew we needed the extra help.

Not at all. God made us smart people to thrive, grow, and develop. Medicine is just one of the wonderful things he allowed us to be smart enough to develop.

Certainly not. Common sense is also a gift from God and using it is a good idea. Peace be with you

No. God gave us a brain. He intends for us to use it.

Prayer is not a cosmic vending machine. You don't put words in and get goodies out.

No -- where did you get the idea that it is a sin to take medication? Whatever works . . .
