No - you literally really need to dream to remain healthy. Dreaming occurs in stage 4 sleep - called REM sleep (short for rapid eye movement). this sleep stage is essential for the body's restorative process. Stopping dreaming would mean stopping this stage of sleep - and that would cause serious problems such as depression, fatigue, and cognitive problems.
There are sleeping disorders in which dreams get out of control though too and become terrifying (called "night terrors") if that's a problem you can see a sleep specialist and that can be treated - but you can't just stop dreaming.

No there is not!! Some medications that help with sleep may stop dreaming in some people yet make others dream more. If your dreams disturb you, going to a therapist will help the cause. Using drugs to cover it up just covers the problem and does not deal with it.

There is a medication to help reduce nightmares, but I forgot what it is called.
Do not eat right before bed, do not eat anything your stomach cannot tolerate. It can still affect your sleep hours later. Do not drink caffeine right before bed, etc.
Nightmares occur when there is a disturbance in your sleep not big enough to wake you, but enough to make your mind subconsciously react to it. That's why indigestion causes a nightmare. Caffeine will do the same by creating a reduction in the depth of your sleep.
Of course, you asked about dreams... Anyway, I'm assuming you meant nightmares, and I have a lot of time on my hands to type.

Yes. The prescription medication is called Soma (carisoprodol). Taking it before bed will basically black you out. The following morning you wake refreshed.

There is a way to stop dreaming, but it isn't recommended and it isn't its intended purpose. It would be illegal for me to contribute to taking medication for the wrong reasons.
