Alright... Go to the tackle store, heres a list of stuff your gonna need if you dont have it. If you don't know what some of this stuff is, then just go to your local tackle shop and ask for it, they'll know what you're talking about.

Definitely Need;
Ultralight rod...50-200$
Reel (I like spinning, but its your preference)..20-200$
2-6lb. test line...5-20$
Salmon eggs
Hooks (small, Gamakatsu and Owner are the sharpest)
Sinkers (split shot)

Good to have;
Powerbait for trout (I like bright green)
Thomas Bouyant (I'm not sure if I spelled that right)
Super duper
Panther Martins
Mepps Roostertails

And remember, most trout are under 12 inches so size does matter, most of the time you want to buy one of the smallest sizes available.

Are you fishing streams or lakes bc there are different techniques. Become tuned to structure and wear polarized sunglasses so you can see the water better. In streams, trout like areas with some current but not strong current. Look for submerged boulders and cast just upstream of them and let the currnt drag them by the rocks. Or, look for eddies, which are little pools separated from the main current. In lakes, your on your own, but you can definetley troll in deeper waters with current running through it. But I am not a good lake trout fisherman. Good luck and enjoy it as much as I do. And move to N California, you'll like it much better than PA. Have fun.

Pa was a great state until it joined the "gay" movement! I stay clear of there now!
I'm with you on the fishing April 1 but with the snow we have doubt I'll be able to get my boat out til July!
