Of course she could. In today's day and age when a lot more couples are doing the "living together" thing, I have seen this more often. A woman will buy her boyfriend a wedding band as sort of an engagement or sign of commitment. You go girl!!

Yes, but the woman must first ask herself whether the man is wholeheartedly willing to commit to the relationship for a lifetime (the wedding band symbolizes a lifetime of love and commitment!). However, I feel that since the man is the one to take leadership in the marriage relationship, he is the one who should initiate the lifetime commitment. This also lets the man feel that he is the MAN of the relationship (ego thing..hee).

Of course!! I've got news, though!!! If this man isn't employed...... or can't seem to stay employed: DON'T think you are going to change him AFTER you get married!!! IT DOESN'T WORK!!

If he can't take care of himself NOW, then he sure can't take care of himself & you plus any kids the two of you may have in the future LATER!!!!

Look at the writing on the wall!! Unless & until he gets a job & hangs on to it for at the very least, 5 years; if you know what's good for you; you won't go near him!!!! Yes, MAKE HIM prove to you that he CAN and WILL support you; at least IN PART........ that he will do HIS PART!!

Sorry, but there are way too many guys out there that want to sit at home all day while their wives are working. Then when their wives get home, they act as if the wife MUST clean up after them & cook!! And that's just CRAP!!!

I figured out a long time ago that it is better to be single than to put up with that kind of CRAP!!!

In my aunt & uncles case, my aunt works while my uncle takes care of the house & cooks. And it works well for them!! However, when a woman HAS to DO IT ALL; WHY BE MARRIED??? You'll find it a lot easier & HAPPIER to be SINGLE!!

Yes, if you want him to wear a ring buy him a wedding band. He doesn't buy it for himself.

I bought my hubby's wedding band and I had an inscription put in it on our first wedding anniversary (told him I was getting our rings cleaned). I think it's perfectly acceptable. Congrats on the wedding!

LoL why would it not be? Are you just getting the band or are you proposing to him? Either way, I know it's traditional for the man to do such things, but that isn't the case anymore. As long as you know what he likes! Gold vs. white gold, etc. etc. Good Luck!
