My new manager of three months is flirting with me (I think). For example: he goes out of his way to come and talk to me, fake fights with me, bumps into me playfully (literally bumps into me), he usually volunteers to drive me places for work (which happens on a daily basis, b/c I am not yet cleared to drive the company vehicles). Yet, he has a girlfriend. I'm not sure how I feel about this guy. Part of me really likes him (we have a lot of fun together) but on the other hand I'm frustrated b/c he has put me in an awkward position. I don't share guys, so IF he is serious, then he has to dump the girlfriend. But that is even if he is serious. He could be flirting just for fun. So, how can I tell if this is a just for fun thing, or if he is more serious. To clarify a couple of things: he never tried to hide from me that he had a girlfriend, also it was he who sought my attention first, and when I have tried to avoid him, he comes and talks to me anyway. Any help/ ideas would be great.

He is obviously flirting with you may it be for fun or not. But if he's the guy that takes his relationship seriously with his girlfriend, he wouldn't be acting the way he is with you because I don't think his girlfriend would like to see her man acting like this. You should examine how he treats his girlfriend and it may clarify some things for you. All in all, if he's respectful and honest to his girlfriend, he shouldn't flirt and you shouldn't take a guy seriously if he behaves as a total flirt even though he didn't hide the fact that he already have a girlfriend. You wouldn't want your boyfriend to be a flirt, would you? Good luck!

There's no easy answer. Come on now, you know girls do the same thing too-flirting with guys even though they have boyfriends. I say he either is flirting with you only for fun, flirting with you because he's a player, or flirting with you because he likes you. (I'm sure you like the last one!) I say it's too soon to tell. If you want to be more certain, it'll take more time. I don't think it's a good situation since he's your Boss and things can get really messy if things don't work out, you just got to be prepared for that.

Men are polygamous in nature, it is the animal instinct in them that make them like that. Even if they are happily married, they still flirt. They enjoyed having more than one women at one time. If he is lucky he can get both women in bed. He is testing the water with you, to see how far you can succumb to his charms and flirts. Just continue having fun with him but keep your feeling aside. If he has serious feeling for you he will dump his girlfriend and declare his feelings. Another way to test him is to make him jealous by going out with someone and make sure he knows about it. His reactions will tell you whether he really cared for you or just having fun. Good luck.

Men and women both like attention. Humans enjoy flirting. don't get caught up in the fun! He is taken and don't forget it and don't let him forget it. You are in the first phase of allowing him to be a cheater. Be his friend, but make sure to check him if he gets out of hand. It all starts with flirting and the two of you are FLIRTING!

Some things to consider...If he is talkin' to you while he is already in a relationship with someone else, how do you know he won't do that to you if you two were to get toegther? A lack of respect in some way is being manifested not only for her since they are together but also to you in a way. Although it is flattering that an individual that you are attracted to is noticing you in the same way, he should only being givin' such attention to who he is involved in. You yourself said you wouldn't share and rightfully so.

Some people are just flirts but this guy seems to be taking it to the next level. He seems like he is interested but thats not fair to you or his girlfriend. Maybe you should mention to him what does his girlfriend think of all the attention he pays to you or something like that. See what he says.

Who cares? Flirt with him back. I flirt with guys if they have a GF unless his Girlfriend is my friend or something.
