I asked this question a couple of days ago and only got one response so I'm going to try again. What do you guys think of girls that like to dress up most of the time. I love to wear skirts, dresses, etc. Even if I'm in jeans, I'm always in a nice top and heels. I'm just not comfortable in just t-shirts or sneakers. They make me feel dumpy. But I have heard that guys are intimidated by girls that dress up. Do you prefer us in more casual clothes?

Just to clear things up...I don't mean "dress up" as slutty. I'm not talking mini skirts or anything here. I mean classy and sophistocated.

it shows you take pride in your appearance!!! keep it up today's girls don't do that enough and guy really look at that, even though we say we don't.. there is something more attractive and sexy about a girl who can dress up and carry it well

I'm not at all intimidated. If it became an obsession, where you needed a long time to get dressed, even if to go to the store for milk, then I would be annoyed--but not intimidated.
What would matter more to me is how you felt about the way I would dress. I've have had women try to treat me as their own personal Ken doll and dress me according to their taste. A shirt here, a sweater there, is fine. But an attempt at a complete make-over is a bad, bad sign.

I'll throw my hat in the ring and take a shot. I think that there is a fine line between dressing up and looking like a floosy which may be why some guys might be turned off by it. Personally i find it attractive when a woman dresses up, because in my mind, it shows they care. But, a t-shirt and jeans are fine also some of the time. i think there is a trade-off, but i find it quite nice when a woman dresses up also.

Girls are just sexier when they dress themselves up. I don't mind a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl,they can still look sexy, but I don't like girls who wear nothing but oversized, baggy, boy's clothes. I don't think it's a girls' style of dress that intimidates guys, I think it's all about the personality. Hot girls tend to be the most stuck-up, because they know they're hot. If you walk around like your **** don't stink, it's a complete turn-off

I like when a girl dresses up. I appreciate the time she took to look good. Jeans and a tee shirt are fine also, what REALLY counts is a girls smile and attitude.

I think that a girl that wears something simple is fine. Guys don't really pay attention to the type of clothes. I think that as long as you wear some pants with an Abercrombie T or an American Eagle T you'll be fine.

prefer is a strong word. i like girls who take care of themselves, etc, but i like it when they're not focused on that specifically. it also depends on what we're doing. for example, if we went to the beach and my gf wore heels, i'd probably laugh. if we're on a date to the movies or dinner or whatever, fine. all i'm saying is, you can wear what you want most of the time, but the clothes should fit the occassion. plus, i love a girl in sweatpants around the house. be comfortable.

it depends on the guy. usually, when we see women that dress up we think it just means that they care about theyre appearance. some prefer girls dressed casually. but yeah. dressing up wont scare away most guys if thats what ur asking

I love girls who dress nice...for anything! i'm the type of guy who really doesn't care what people think of my apearance too much, but you never know who you might bump into. I don't like it when its "overdone" such as taking an hour to just go to Walmart; but try to look decent. my opinion
