Personally, I would not mess with anything you are not sure of. My opinion, the best way to remove programs from startup is to click Start, Settings, Taskbar and Start Menu, click Remove.
click things you want to remove, then click the remove button. This will take the shortcut from the Start Menu but will not delete the program.
Look for things you do not use daily, like a camera, Print Shop, burner, etc. When you do want to load these, it will just take a minute but at least it won't hold you up every day.
Be sure to run a virusscan, Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, and a defrag regularly. This helps maintain speed.

So many processes. I would google the process name and see what it says it belongs to. (What program). If it is a program you dont need, do an end now on that process. Also, you can run the windows configuration and go to the start up tab (or boot tab) and uncheck those processes from running when your computer boots. Hope that helps.
Oh, the program is called msconfig. Go to start/run and type in msconfig and click OK. Then go to the startup tab. Uncheck the ones you dont want. google the names first to make sure you do not need them. There are so many things that are in the sys tray and other crap that you dont need that will slow down the system.
Also, if you do not want a service to run, you can go to services and set their start up to Disabled to. Right click on My computer, go to Manage, and then go to services and Applications. Click on Services. Find the service you want, right click and go to properties. Then set the startup type to disabled or manual. Good Luck.

Click on that site for a free test that will tell you what to do. Just click on the yellow key and test anonymously. It is safe.
To remove from startup other things:
Go to Start, then Run, type in this word: msconfig then click OK.
Then dot in Selective Startup. Go up to top and click on Startup. Unclick some programs you think you might not need. Don't worry, you can always redo what you have unclicked. Then click on Apply and OK.
