Is there an easy way, a gentle way to tell someone AFTER you had sex with them that you've got an STD?

I had a friend in college that didn't bother to tell me until afterwards. We actually never even flirted before that night. A guy was harrassing her and I stepped in and pretended to be her boyfriend until we left the party. Unfortunately we didn't stop pretending until next morning.
It really hurt me. If she had been upfront, it may have saved our friendship. As it is, we never spoke again. Looking back now, I'd much rather have her as a friend in my life today instead of a past lover that I know longer know.
Thank God I didn't catch anything from her. But, I learned some valuable lessons.

No. The are definitely going to be upset with you. You'll just have to deal with it. But you should of been more responsible and told them beforehand.
