I must confess, I actually respect everyone's right to believe what they wish, but sometimes, I lose it and argue with the "in your face, you are going to Hell" Christians. We all have our moments of hypocrisy, we're here aren't we.

Well, both in a way. I absolutely believe that everyone has the right to think and feel and believe whatever they want to. I will defend that right with my last breath. I also think I have the right to disagree with their beliefs, and explain to them why. It's discussion and disagreement, not hate and intolerance. I would never try to FORCE someone to think or believe what I do.

I respect that People believe what they want and I make no interference in that regard, I don't however acknowledge that they have any inherent rights to do so. That is something that the lawmakers are responsible to, what is socially and civilly acceptable by the laws that govern what ever sovereign nation one finds one a citizen of or guest in that host nation, in my opinion only of course.

Why do you believe that having the right to believe as you chose, and me telling you that you are wrong is mutually exclusive ? You have a right to say what you believe. I in turn have the right to tell you why your wrong.

99% of the time, I live my life unconcerned with what others believe. The 1% of the time I do speak my mind is when I am "challenged" for my lack of belief, or "backed into a corner".

Truth isn't a popularity contest. If someone's objectively wrong about something, then they're wrong, and that's that, and I will tell them they're wrong, and explain why. I would expect anyone else to do the same with me, if I'm wrong. That's how we learn.

I believe everyone has the right to their own opinion - but I want them to know the truth about God - then it's up to them to believe and trust!@~

God gives us free will...and I'm sure not going against Him.

Believe what you want, but somebody's going to be surprised in the end because everybody can't be right.
