Yes, it would be. However, unfortunately, people disrespect others by saying "I'm right and you're going to hell" and that attitude is everywhere on this forum.

Wouldn't it be great if people ANYWHERE could do the same? I don't think it will ever happen. Feelings of faith, like faith itself, are blown far out of proportion. There is no single "truth," for truth to one is false to another. There is great wisdom in the old adage, "never discuss religion or politics in a crowd." Good luck

I think this is fairly civil, no one gets a bloody nose and everyone has the opportunity to script their bit without being shouted down by the opposing views. Seems civil to me.

It would be nice, but it will not happen all of the time. People by nature want to argue and will do so at any time to prove their specific point or belief. As calm as a person can be, they are not always able to hold back strong feelings.

The I'm right and you're going to hell just isn't on these forums, it's everywhere. One of my best friends is like that. But I finally had to say " so you mean now that you're saved Jesus forgot about all the blow you did and that time you beat up yourgirl friend in Mexico?"

You know that would be great. That would be absolutly spectacular. It seems to me that it has been getting better than it was before. But I might just be on at the wrong times. Great question! Im going to star it.

It would be wonderful. I don't think it will happen though. People have to have respect for others opinions for it to be civil. Some don't seem to know how to respectfully disagree.

yes it would be great but unfortunately when the the topic is religion everyone has his/her own opinion.
My teacher once told us if you are in a party and if you are bored brought-up a topic about religion and politics then the party will be an unforgettable one.
